At Solar Starz, we aim to make delivery simple, reliable, and transparent. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered to customers across South Africa.

Delivery Coverage

Solar Starz currently ships nationwide within South Africa. We work with established courier companies to ensure your order arrives safely and within the estimated delivery timeframe.

At this time, we do not offer international shipping.


Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Your delivery address
  • The size and weight of the items ordered
  • Courier service availability in your area

From time to time, free shipping promotions may be offered during selected campaigns or seasonal promotions.

Unless specifically stated, express or same-day delivery is not available.


Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday).

Orders placed:

  • After 12:00 PM (SAST) will begin processing the next business day
  • On weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day

Processing includes:

  • Order verification
  • Payment confirmation
  • Packaging and preparation for dispatch

In some cases, processing may take slightly longer due to:

  • Payment verification checks
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping details
  • High order volumes during busy sales periods

If there is any delay with your order, our team will contact you via email or phone.


Delivery Time

Once your order has been dispatched, the estimated delivery time is:

3–6 business days across most regions in South Africa.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed, as they depend on courier operations and your delivery location.


Courier Partners

Solar Starz works with reliable South African courier services to ensure safe and efficient delivery.

Once your order has been shipped:

  • tracking number will be sent to you via email or SMS
  • Tracking information may take 24–48 hours to appear in the courier tracking system

Tracking Your Order

You will receive a tracking link once your order has been dispatched so you can monitor its progress.

Order Cancellations

Please note:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been processed or dispatched
  • If the order has already been shipped, you may need to follow our returns process

Address Changes

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information when placing an order.

If you need to update your address, please contact us immediately.

However:

  • Address changes cannot be guaranteed after an order is processed
  • Once the parcel has been shipped, couriers may not allow rerouting

Shipping Issues

Lost or Missing Packages

If your tracking information shows the package as delivered but you have not received it, please:

  1. Check with household members or neighbours
  2. Contact the courier company directly

Solar Starz cannot accept responsibility for packages marked as delivered by the courier.


Incorrect Address

Solar Starz is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided during checkout.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply for resending the package.


Undeliverable Orders

Orders may be returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Failed delivery attempts
  • Refusal of delivery

In these cases:

  • The order may be cancelled, or
  • reshipping fee may apply

Refunds issued will exclude the original shipping costs.


Delivery Delays

While we aim to deliver all orders within the estimated timeframe, delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, including:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Public holidays
  • Load shedding
  • Courier operational delays
  • Deliveries to remote or rural locations

We appreciate your patience and understanding if such situations arise.


Peak Season Shipping

During busy shopping periods such as:

  • Black Friday
  • Christmas
  • New Year

Courier networks may experience longer delivery times due to high demand.

We recommend placing orders early during these periods to avoid potential delays.
